Our door-to-door transportation program is designed to make camp days smoother for parents and more fun for kids. Friendly staff greet campers each morning, buses are carefully planned and supervised, and communication stays clear from pickup to drop-off. Swimming at Every Level
Led by our Red Cross-trained staff, campers swim in small, consistent groups with others their age and skill level — allowing them to learn, build confidence, and progress at their own pace. Our swim program supports every level, from first-time bubble blowers in the shallow pool to advanced Mountaineers learning rescue techniques. Effort and improvement are celebrated through skill milestones, weekly recognition, and shared moments of pride across the camp community.

Keeping Families Connected
We believe great communication builds trust. Our team stays in close contact with families throughout the summer, sharing updates, listening to individual needs, and making sure parents feel informed, supported, and connected to their child’s camp experience.
During the Day
Office
Our main office communicates all bussing information, including helping kids get to family playdates, arranging alternate drop-off locations, and letting you know if the bus is running a little late. The Gate Hill office is also available for queries and support throughout the year. We even have extended summer hours.
Divison Leaders
Division Leaders start the conversation with families before camp even starts, and our proactive communication means parents are kept up to date on their child's social and skill development by phone and e-mail. Whether campers passed the deep water test, made a new friend in the group or needed a hug and a band aid, families are kept informed.
Camp Directors
From first meeting, personal relationships are continued throughout the summer by our hands—on Directors. Gate Hill is a family-owned and operated business, and the availability and engagement of Directors to our families is a strong part of the fabric of the camp community.

Parents love the inside look from our tri-weekly "Table Talk" e-mails. We help parents stay connected with their child's day-to-day experiences by providing a cheat sheet of camp activities and surprises, as well as insight into their child's group experience at Gate Hill.
